I am a double major in Political Science and African American Studies. Both major programs have reinforced each other, allowing me to develop a diverse skillset.

In the this semester-long research course, I aim to explore the precipitous decline in Black MLB players since the 1990s.

This small, online class with Dr. Vincent Adejumo is perhaps the most foundational for my research, allowing me to understand the evolution of Black masculinity and Black Male Studies.

A current course, Judicial Politics has increased my understanding of the legal field and I look forward to unpacking more critically how the court system impacts political function in modern America.

Taking political theory in the Fall of 2023 provided me with a baseline for understanding the development of political thought and how it can be applied to modern phenomena. 

My first class with Dr. Drew Brown inspired me to pursue my research goals and sparked the relationship that has been critical in my academic career.
